1. What DropIt is
DropIt (dropit.fyi) lets a dispatcher record a short voice note at a map pin, turns it into a job card with AI, and shares a temporary job link with a contractor by SMS, WhatsApp, email or any share target. By using DropIt you agree to these terms.
2. Your responsibility when sharing links
User liability for link sharing. The dispatcher is responsible for ensuring they have the right and permission to share the client's property address, access codes and job details with the recipient. The contractor (or any recipient of a job link) is responsible for not forwarding the link to unauthorised third parties. Anyone holding a job link can open it until it expires, so treat links like keys.
3. Not an emergency service
No emergency services. DropIt is not a life-safety, emergency or time-critical dispatch tool. Messages are sent through your own phone's SMS, WhatsApp or email apps and carried by third-party networks. We are not liable for delayed, undelivered or misdirected messages caused by carrier, internet or device outages. For emergencies contact local emergency services directly.
4. Temporary data and deletion
Data deletion. Job links are strictly temporary. All sensitive job data — audio notes, photos and precise location — is permanently purged 30 days after the job is completed or the link expires, whichever comes first, as part of our privacy compliance. Job titles may be retained in your history with sensitive fields replaced by a purge marker.
5. Credits, subscriptions and payments
One credit is consumed per dispatched job. Cancelling a job that was never sent returns the credit automatically. Credit packs and Solo Pro subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Solo Pro is "Unlimited*" subject to fair use: up to 500 jobs per calendar month (UTC); further jobs in that month consume pack credits, or are declined until the month resets if you have none.
6. Pricing and changes
We may change prices, credit pack sizes and plan features at any time. Changes that affect an active subscription are announced in-app or by email at least 30 days before they apply and take effect at your next renewal. Credits you have already purchased keep their value and remain usable. Prices are shown in USD and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
7. AI-generated content
Job cards are generated by AI (Google Gemini) from your audio, photos and notes. Always review the job card before sending. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you dispatch.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use DropIt to harass, stalk, share data you are not entitled to share, or to scrape job links. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
9. Liability
DropIt is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude warranties and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above tells you when. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
